It’s been a while since we had one of our Catch of the Day (COTD) Updates. To refresh your memory, COTD Updates are Updates where we list yarn that, for one reason or another, didn't turn out the way we intended. While, the yarn and the colors are still beautiful, because the results were unexpected, we can not replicate these colors. Last week's release of the Heritage Home Collection has given us the perfect opportunity to host the Heritage Home Collection KAL (HHC23 KAL)!
As you know, the Heritage Home Collection is a collaboration featuring patterns designed by myself and Dori Kershner (@florydori). We will both be your hosts for this KAL. All KAL participants are invited to a Kick-Off Zoom Party on February 20, 2023 at 6:30pm eastern (link to come).
During the Zoom we will discuss the patterns, the yarn and colors, plus, Dori will demonstrate various techniques used in the Heritage Home Collection. I will be available to help with color choices and pairings for anyone making last minute selections. It is sure to be a fun evening!

The official HHC KAL runs February 20, 2023 - April 20, 2023. However, you are welcome to swatch now so your are ready for the kick-off.The HHCKAL will happen in the North Bay Fiber Ravelry Group.

Our colors are inspired by the iconic Hudson Bay Blanket, but the blanket would be just as beautiful in a solid. Knit in our Heritage base, this woolly blanket will be an heirloom for years to come.

Worked entirely in one piece, the Angler Pillow will add a pop of color and texture to your favorite room! The front panel is a large mitered square. Sunday Funday in our Fall Palette!
We wanted to knit a striped sweater to showcase our NBF Seasonal Fall Palette and we thought the Sunday Funday sweater by Jill Zielinski / @knitterella was a great fit. We added 6 stripes to showcase the 6 limited edition colors of the fall palette. We love the result!

Essential Ribbed Hat - Updated
We love showing more samples and options to our patterns and today we have updated our Essential Ribbed Hat pattern with more photos. This time we are showing Ed wearing the slouchy version styled with a folded brim. We love this close fitting watch cap style!
The Essential Ribbed Hat takes only 1 skein of Elemental Sport. The pattern is written in 3 sizes and has options for a beanie or slouchy version.
