- In-stock items will ship as soon as we resume processing orders.
- For dyed-to-order yarns, we’ll begin dyeing and shipping within 1-3 weeks of our return.

The Autumn Snowfall sweater contains a striking snowflake pattern placed in an unexpected location, adding a touch of elegance and whimsy to this timeless piece, that will be a standout addition to any hand-knit wardrobe.
Knit with our light and lofty Heritage Sport, Autumn Snowfall perfectly balances warmth and softness. The yarn’s airy texture beautifully complements the two-color design, making the snowflake motif truly stand out. NOTES FROM THE DESIGNER:
Autumn Snowfall is knit seamlessly from the top down. You cast on for the back neck and then work increases to shape the shoulders. After completing the back yoke, stitches for the fronts are picked up from each of the shoulders. Simple shaping creates a crew neckline. After the front yoke is complete, the body of Autumn Snowfall is knit in the round. A bold section of snowflakes is worked at the bottom hem. Sleeves are picked up and knit from the top down in the round.

This week marks North Bay Fiber's 3rd anniversary! We are thrilled to celebrate it with you! It feels like just yesterday we embarked on this journey. We are incredibly grateful for the love and support we've received from each of you over the past years. In these swift-moving years, North Bay Fiber has blossomed from a dream into a flourishing family business. What an incredible journey it has been! Over the past three years, we started with introducing our beloved Heritage yarn line, adored by knitters for its exceptional quality and distinctive colors. We have also expanded our offerings with two more adored yarn lines of custom-milled, breed-specific yarns that are 100% American sourced and milled: Hello, Elemental and Journey! This year, we achieved a significant milestone by purchasing and opening our first location, which expanded our dyeing operations (that means no more dyeing yarn in below-freezing temps, woohoo!) and offers a brick-and-mortar shop, bringing a dedicated yarn store to our community.
These are just a few highlights from these amazing years. None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of our wonderful family, friends, and of course, YOU. We hope to see you at the Grand Opening of the North Bay Fiber Showroom. A yarn shop dedicated to showcasing all North Bay Fiber yarns!
North Bay Fiber designs and produces high-quality, custom-milled, non-superwash yarns made from breed-specific wool. Our yarns are 100% sourced, spun, and hand-dyed in the U.S.A. Our showroom features all of our yarns paired with knitted and crocheted samples to spark your creativity. Additionally, we offer a small but growing selection of needles and notions.
Our shop offers numerous cozy spots to gather, sit, and knit together. With its spacious layout, we aim to create a welcoming atmosphere for all.
To commemorate the occasion, the first 100 customers will receive a free gift with purchase!

Our Grand Opening coincides with the Middle Of The Mitten Yarn Crawl running from July 11th to July 20th.
Located on M-13 in Pinconning, Michigan, you will find our vast Showroom/Yarn Shop on the west side of M-13 right as you enter Pinconning. During the crawl, in addition to our North Bay Fiber yarns, we will also be feature two exciting trunk shows!
Trunk Show | July 12-13: Knit 2 Together
Sue Treiber, of Knit2Together, creates beautiful, one-of-a-kind bags of all sizes. Designed in a variety of fun prints, her bags are perfect for your knitting projects. Each bag is meticulously handcrafted with attention to detail, ensuring both functionality and style.
Trunk Show | July 19-20: Sable and Stone
Danielle Drayer, of Sable and Stone, offers luxury knitting and crochet stitch markers and progress keepers. Her handmade designs are made locally, using semi-precious gemstones and come in a wide array of colors and styles. Her modern designs use stones like Moonstone, Amethyst, and Opal, and are like beautiful jewelry for your knitting and crochet WIPs.

Soft Opening Postponed
As you know, we've been eagerly preparing to welcome you to our new home. However, after careful consideration, we've made the difficult decision to postpone our soft opening that was originally scheduled for later this month.
With the Fiber Festival approaching this weekend, the ongoing process of moving into our new building, and the demands of fulfilling orders, we simply wouldn't be ready.
We truly can’t wait to welcome you into our space, however we want to ensure that everything is just right when we open our doors to you. Your first experience with us means everything, and it's important our space reflects that.

Big Dreams, Big News!
Today is a pinch-me moment as I share some incredible news with you. This photo captures the sheer joy of my family and me in front of the future home of North Bay Fiber!
Purchasing this building marks a monumental leap forward for our small business, a journey that began just under three years ago. Over the next few months, we’ll be transitioning our operations to this beautiful new space in Pinconning, Michigan.
The reality of this growth is still sinking in—transforming our passion for knitting and yarn into a thriving business that we can now call home. Reflecting on how far we’ve come, I’m overwhelmed with happy tears, a testament to hard work, dedication, and the incredible support from our family and community.
As we embark on this new chapter, I want to express my deepest gratitude. Thank you for being part of our journey, for your encouragement, and support. Each time you cheer us on, share our business, and of course, purchase our yarn, you play a significant role in making these dreams come true.

Trunk Show - Wool and Honey
I'm thrilled to announce that Wool And Honey is hosting a North Bay Fiber Trunk Show, and I can't wait to share this exciting weekend with you! Join us March 8-10, 2024, for a delightful knitting experience in the charming setting of Northern Michigan.
The festivities kick off on Friday with a launch event featuring mocktails, a yarn preview, and a chance to mingle. I'll be on hand to assist with patterns, yarn choices, and colors. Join me for a Q&A session where I'll share my North Bay Fiber journey. I’ll be wearing my (new!) Journey Cardigan—the pattern will debut at the trunk show and attendees will have the first chance to secure kits!
Saturday promises a full day of knitting, chatting, and inspiration. From 10 am to noon, join the Open Stitch session - this is a dedicated time to sit and knit together. The remainder of the day will feature a showcase of yarn, colors, and samples sure to inspire you. Wool and Honey will also host drawings for fabulous yarny goodies – a perfect way enhance to your stash!

Starting, Tuesday, December 19th, we will take our annual end of the year, Holiday break. Any orders placed during our Holiday Break will be processed at the start of the New Year. Any in-stock items will ship once we resume processing orders. For yarn ordered that is not in our current inventory, we will dye-to-order and ship within 1-3 weeks from January 3, 2024.
We are looking forward to spending our break with family and friends, enjoying each others company, reflecting on all that has been accomplished and all that we are thankful for.
