DESCRIPTION:
Our first yarn in our new Millhouse Collection.
BayDrift is a cloud-light lace yarn spun from 75% Baby Suri Alpaca and 25% Silk, chosen for its luminous halo, gentle drape, and exceptional softness. A mohair-free alternative, it offers next-to-skin comfort with a refined, airy feel.

This base takes dye beautifully and opened the door to a new kind of exploration for us — including our very first experiments with variegated and speckled color. Needles are flying, fabrics are forming, and the color possibilities feel endlessly inspiring.

Hold BayDrift together with one of our custom-milled signature bases (BayHouse, BayBlend, or Elemental) — knit or crochet — and you’ll create a fabric that feels uniquely yours: soft, dimensional, and quietly radiant. Use it on its own for ethereal lace, or pair it to add halo, depth, and luminosity to any project.

NOTE ON COLORS:
BayDrift variegated colors are dyed in small batches, and no two skeins are exactly alike. While each skein reflects the overall colorway shown, you may notice variations in tone, placement, and intensity — a natural result of the variegated dye process and part of what makes each skein special.

Think of BayDrift as a one-of-a-kind piece of fiber art. These subtle differences add depth, movement, and character to your finished fabric, ensuring that no two projects are ever quite the same. 

CARE:
• Hand wash in lukewarm water and dry flat.

SHIPPING
• Orders are shipped USPS. Cost will depend on order weight and destination and will be calculated at checkout.
• We currently only ship within the United States and to Canada. If you are outside of this range, please email us ( info@northbayfiber.com ) and we arrange shipping options for you. 
• You will receive shipping confirmation and tracking once order is processed.
