A beautiful rainbow of naturally dyed color, thoughtfully curated for the stunning Bao Bao Shawl by Isabell Kraemer!

Created in collaboration with Yvette of Running Bird Farm, these limited-edition kits feature our 100% American wool BayHouse Sport yarn, transformed through the beautiful art of natural dyeing.

Yvette created a gorgeous Bao Bao Shawl sample featuring an incredible rainbow of naturally dyed colors. Each kit captures the same beautiful feel as her original shawl, with subtle variations that make every kit truly one of a kind!

Kit Includes

• 14 mini skeins of BayHouse Sport, approximately 20g each

• 90 yards / 82 meters per mini skein

• Total yardage: Approximately 1,260 yards / 1,148 meters

• 13 naturally dyed colors, plus one additional 20g mini skein of Natural for the final ribbing

• 100% American wool, non-superwash
  
  

Pattern & Modifications

This kit is designed for a modified version of the Bao Bao Shawl by Isabell Kraemer, resulting in a slightly smaller finished shawl.

Modification instructions:

• Work 39 color repeats instead of the 45 called for in the original pattern.

• Use the additional Natural mini skein for the final ribbing.

• Approximate finished size: 55" × 25"

A Note About Naturally Dyed Yarn

The beauty of natural dyeing is that no two kits are exactly alike! While each kit uses the same dye materials and recipes, natural dyes create beautiful variations in shade and tone. Colors will vary from kit to kit and may differ from the sample shown, making each kit uniquely its own.
