The name Bédélia is a variant of the Irish-Gaelic name Brighid, which means “exalted one”and is associated with the mythic Celtic goddess of fire and poetry. Fire is a deeply spiritualsymbol, representing a gift of life and warmth, inspiration and light. My wish as you knit theBédélia Bandana, is that you will feel the warmth of the light.
