The first day of January feels like the perfect moment for a fresh cast-on — and I’m excited to share that I’m officially opening a test knit call for a brand new shawl design.

This pattern (still unnamed!) is a top-down triangular shawl knit with three colors of North Bay Fiber BayBlend DK. It’s an easy, meditative knit featuring simple knits and purls, gentle striping, and cozy ribbing — the kind of project that’s perfect for settling into the new year with your needles.

If you’re looking for a relaxing, satisfying knit and would love to help bring this design to life, I’d be so happy to have you apply as a test knitter.
